The Role
EMRI A/S invites you to join our dynamic Commercial team as a Product Manager in Skovlunde.
Working closely with our Sales, Service, and Marketing teams, your primary focus will be to develop new products, rethink existing offerings, and strategically manage our product portfolio throughout its lifecycle — including end-of-life planning. In this role, you will report directly to the General Manager, Commercial.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Help Sales & Drive Portfolio Management: Secure sales goals for the Steering and Control retrofit business by effectively managing our existing portfolio.
- Product Roadmap & Strategy: Develop and own the full product roadmap at EMRI A/S, identifying new growth opportunities alongside the Commercial team within areas such as Steering and Control, AutoPilot, SpeedPilot, Joystick/Dynamic Positioning applications, and emerging technologies.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Define top-level requirements based on market insights and customer needs, conduct competitor analysis, and apply your findings to our product development. Ensure product launch together with Marketing and GM for Commercial.
- Vision & Strategic Planning: Formalize the vision and product strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader commercial goals.
- Product Launch & Development: Lead product launches in collaboration with Marketing and the General Manager, Commercial, and drive product development from a commercial perspective in cooperation with the Innovation department.
About You
You are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum of 3 years in a technical product organization, with experience in product development and/or product management.
- A University degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to build and maintain a robust knowledge base.
- Solid understanding of project and/or product management principles (experience in project management is a plus).
- Good commercial acumen, including familiarity with basic business economics, project valuation, and preferably outbound product marketing.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Exceptional presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of regulations relevant for maritime applications and products.
- Experience in the maritime industry, ideally as a product manager or product owner.
